Cori served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army, where she honed her discipline, attention to detail, and “we-can-do-better-than-basic” attitude. After earning her BSN from Northern Illinois University in 2007 (with honors), she spent over a decade in pre/post-surgery, where she leveled up her understanding of patient care and medical precision.
